I use a Wahoo Kickr in the winter and the main drawback is the fixed cassette. First off, the cassette that came with the machine didn't mesh properly with any of the 4 bikes that i use it with so I put on an Ultegra cassette. Then I had to space to space all of my wheels to match so that shifting on each bike would be the same across the board. Once done, it works great but it was a pain originally to get all of my machines set up to use the same trainer with minimal fuss.
