I thought this when I got it years back, but the price from the LBS cleanout was just way way too good. It's aged well for a 2015/2016 bike. The headset area isn't modern aero but I semi integrated the bar/stem using a triathlon aero stem that fit the aero bars well.
In other words, there's no "round" spot on the handlebars facing the wind. Only aero shapes. Most of your EC90 or Zipps have the round part of the clamp area. This clamps top top to bottom, not front/back.
