Uh? A hub based speed sensor on the rear wheel is hidden nicely and costs about the same. I've no idea why people use this fidgety magnet and strap business.
Also, the computer on the bike is "good enough" for most uses.
I only use my wheel based speed sensor if doing really really nerdy time trial data gathering stuff needing the instantaneous accuracy of a sensor instead of GPS.
I've no idea why the magnet thing is still a thing.
My MadOne has a speed/cadence senor built into the chainstay, so a tiny small magnet is all I needed. I guess I sort of forgot that other manufacturers may not do that :-)
