The Nuovo is my most recent addition to what's starting to look like a Cinelli collection. With the first ride, it immediately became my primary bike
and one of the nicest bikes I've had the pleasure of owning.
Road behaviour,like all Cinelli's, is exemplary but returning to steel was like coming home.
Tho I have no complaints with the carbon tail aluminum Aliantes, the Nuovo is ever so slighly more direct, lively and engaging.
The Aliantes are actually a bit better damped and tho I can't be absolutely sure, probably the superior climbing/sprinting machines.
fwiw,The Aliante Carve and the Nuovo SC have identical geometry specifications (Aliante Muscle is the same except for 5 mm longer chainstays)
and with very similar componentry so comparisons have been pretty enlightening.
Maybe someday, I'll completely loose it and get a matching classic Supercorsa to complete the set.
