I agree with you about the naming-
The Expedition was noticeably bigger than the Touring, which was about the same size as a Pasela 1 1/4".
Since I have a couple of pairs of old Expeditions, I should test-install them to see how they measure new, before possible years of inflation bulging may have set in.
The Paselas in 1-1/4 are pretty huge though. And I have several pair of those, so can test as well.
