IIRC correctly, the Pro Comp were circa 1995-1996. Chronologically, this would place them as contemporaries to the Giant Cadex CFR series. The rear brake cable tunnels running under the top tube are certainly consistent with the CFR series, though I thought the Giant lugs were a bit more angular, with the seat lug not having any extension above the top tube. Regardless, it does have similarities and the serial number will us if it is Giant sourced.
