Indeed the chrome was sketchy. Bike was still in owners shed at time and he told me the chrome was rusted completely through. I asked about polishing with aluminum foil and he told me no that it was too far gone. So it needs either a repaint or powder coating and after factoring new decals and knowing it was miles too small I'm out.
