I won't argue the latter three three, but have enough experience in the first three: convenience and preference will play a part in all of them, but if anyone thinks that it's and open-and-shut case of outdated and inferior, they're mistaken - either their judgement is based on no experience or their comparison is based upon poor representatives of the technology.
