I'd love full carbon wheels but I'd get another bike for that 2-3k vs some wheels I might run into a curb or pot hole with. But I like the bombproofness of the old school Mavic Carbones (11spd) I'm on now. If I got something new, it would be the HED jet 5's or something. Same style design aka alum with carbon flaring, but wider rim profile and U shaped that is more modern. But these Ebay $550 wheels are working out for me and pretty quick at speed.
