It was on an early 90s Trek 1200. Had been used for triathlons. The mounts fits standard downtube shifters and yes, mounts under the tape. They do come in pairs, but this bike only had 1. I looked them up a couple months ago, but just can't recall the name. If the bike had been just a size bigger, I might have gone to look at it...
