As for B+M, they are pretty expensive
in the US.

Even with shipping that's still easily $30-60 cheaper. Sure, you might be spending more money if anything goes wrong with it but in general these are pretty durable lights.
Midrange options are the
B+M Cyo T Premium at €50 or the
B+M Eyc at €33.
