I never bought into the gp4000 sII hype, because 1) cost and 2) sidewall problems. I finally bought a pair on close-out, and can see what the fuss was about with ride quality. This morning my front suffered a sidewall blowout with less than 100 miles on it. A tiny one, right at the edge of the tread. I'm gonna put a tube patch on it and see if I can get another 100 miles out of it.
