The law requiring one to come to a full stop and put down one foot makes sense. Track standing at an intersection confuses everyone, even other cyclists.
Following the law requiring a cyclist to give a turn signal would help too. Especially at a complicated intersection with heavy traffic. Ever get annoyed at a car that does not have the turn signal on when it is needed? That's just like a cyclist who does not use turn, stop, signals, confusing.
Yes many drivers think cyclists are DUI recipients. It does not mean anything.
