You are going to find some cheap single speed regular non-electric bikes in that price point that aren't great but more reliable than any other bike in that price point. You won't find quality e-bikes anywhere near that low of a price point and the under 2k ones are a little better but really you won't find many quality motors and batteries there. Cheap bikes are cheap for a reason and decent e-bikes cost $2500 on up. Dealing with warranties on those cheap bikes is a hellish nightmare and some don't have much warranty anyway. Bosch, Brose and Shimano STEPS are reliable and well made with good warranties and generally have fewer problems and when you have problems they have you covered.
