my first hybrid was a 700c schwinn trailway bought a month ago at Target for $250. had pretty good luck with this bike so far. I could swear it looks and rides like a bike that costs two to three times as much. I did some research before buying and reviews for it seem to be universal praise. I don't think they were wrong so far. It came with 21-speed SRAM shifters and SRAM ESP derailleur, kenda tires, alloy frame and wheels, promax brakes, suntour alloy crank, suntour suspension fork, etc. seems to have lots of brand name parts. still can't believe this is a $250 department bike lol. (Note: the gearing system may vary bike to bike. both Target and Schwinn websites lists Shimano as the gearing and shifting system for the Trailway, but mine actually came with the SRAM shifters and derailleur which I didn't realize until two days after I brought it home from Target. It was a nice surprise to me because I prefer SRAM anyway).
