We noodled around the upper valley words North Bend. Both of us riding bikes that are relatively new to us. We stopped near Mt. Si for a picture of them

Moon Valley is a dead end road so it’s an ‘out and back’ route only a few miles long, but it’s interesting. We got back onto the main road, skirting the town of North Bend and rode East out to Mt. Si Road which is another dead end, out and back. It climbs gently for a few miles, following the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River. We turn around at the Mt. Tenerife Trailhead Parking lot and soon we are effortlessly spinning back down at a good clip because of the grade. We make our way back to Snoqualmie where Stu’s car is parked We split up there and I head home.
