it is great...it handles like a Miyata Team race bike Seriously my philosophy has been to ride my best most fun bike when commuting as bikes are meant ti be used.....so I have commuted on Miyata 1400, De Rosa and this Team Miyata (and I have another with friction and Eroica set up I mix in)

I use biggest tire i can fit right now Conti GP 5000 28mm

The only down sides (and the are minor for me) is that using a bike like this I don't have a rack (although I have jury rigged before) and not full fenders when it rains
