Back in the very early '90s or very late '80s there was a big spread in one of the cycling magazine about the LA Sheriff/LA Cheverlot team. I recall they rode Medici frames but not much else.

Personally I would not mind trying one, the ones I recall from the article and have seen here always seemed like nice bikes.
