I spend a lot of my time on climbs out of the saddle, I've been doing it this way for over 30 years and am very comfortable out of the saddle. I've tried more and more the last few years to tell myself to climb in the saddle. Sometimes I listen to myself and sometimes I just can't help but get out of the saddle, old habit are hard to break (haha).
