Try the 3M, Type 33, available in several colors found it in the electrical department at Lowes. Its not like garden variety electrical tape, our electrical subcontractors turned me on to it. I have their orange for the ends of the bar tape on my CAAD 10, in the Gulf Oil Racing livery. The good doctor's looks like that does on my bike.
