I use a cheap cotton headband that I wear just above the brows. I ring it out about every hour or so. It works well, but I do carry a second headband in case it is needed. I was surprised at the amount of water that it captures.
A cotton T-Shirt style band here too.
I'm a bit down on riding this summer..
For errands and such, I take the sweatband off at every stop, then rotate it so there is a dry spot over the forehead. Sometimes ringing (or ringing the helmet sweat pads).
