I went to Florida for a training camp BITD. I did leave with doubts about my abilities, and also I caught mono while I was there so the whole exercise was pointless. It took a year to recover. I have often thought that was one of the luckiest things that ever happened to me. Decades later, I realized I have asthma, so it's no wonder my performance was capped at something less than pro level.
