Brass wool, you say? I know people say no matter how fine, steel wool will scratch the chrome - but brass won't? How fine? I'm using my fingernail and Goo Gone and it's a slow process

I had good results using a paste made of Barkeepers Friend. I think it comes as a "soft cleanser" now. Put it on, work it with a cloth, Rinse using a wet cloth and dry.
