Well praise God, we have some RAIN! It was iffy as far as potential tonight. Not much was/is expected to fall, but we will take whatever we can get to help begin clearing things up.

Yesterday I went to see some friends for beers and a game night. This very weird orange orb in the sky was the size of the moon, but in the sun's position. I have never seen the sun that large in the sky--it was huge--and staring at it was not a problem (it was plenty dim enough).

Visibility last night was also a paltry 1.25 miles if I read the map correctly. There is a whole other neighborhood on a big hill (Magnolia) that rises and stretches off to the right/north...don't know where it went! [FYI I was driving north and stopped to take this photo--no riding was done by me at all]
