Try The Hell of Hunterdon some time. I’ve heard it’s very hard. The county is also the birthplace of the real life figure who inspired the film “Jeremiah Johnson,” starring Robert Redford and Will Geer.
Some of my friends have done Hell of Hunterdon and I heard the stories. I am still not doing any “destination” rides as it eats up too much time. Plus I have amazing riding in beautiful Chester County.
