Each apt is different construction, but I train at 0'dark:30 in the am. I have a neo and a 1st gen kickr in my 3rd floor apt. I put a cardboard base (wardrobe boxes from when I moved) down on the floor and put a rubber trainer mat over that. I haven't had any issues in 2 years of 4-5 days a week of training.
