Somewhere about 20 degrees. When I went out to ride yesterday morning, weather app said i was 25, my Wahoo said i was 22 °F. I rode with my Pearl Izumi lobster claws, glove liners, and Hot Hands and had no problem with cold fingers.
The bar mitts are great for cold weather, but there is a price for variations in hand position and for getting the hands out quickly in emergencies, etc. So I don't look forward to them. I'll appreciate them soon, though.
