Yeah, why is that? I've never been much of a road rider. And when I did ride on the road, my road bike was setup to mimic my track fit but with the bars about 2" higher for comfort.

Do the roadies like the position in the pic above so that they can set back further in the saddle and grind using their glutes when necesary (not being done in that pic, though)? Is it for easier climbing in or out of the saddle with the bike at an angle going up an incline?
