Finding a 49+ Shoe w Free Returns
So the only 49 and up MTB shoes I can find with free/fairly hassle-free returns are:
Shimano ME3 from Zappos:
Tried this and cannot believe how cheap they feel. Terrible.
Sidi Dominator from Backcountry:
250?! Seriously these cannot be the only good big mtb shoe for guys. I tried them and they are exceptional - but so stiff - the top tongue thing juts into my ankle - sure they'd loosen up after a while. But yeah - this is the shoe I want I think. The 49 seems a little tight so am going for the 50 if I can't find an alternative.
So wish I would have bought like three pairs of my old Northwaves from three years ago. Can't find the model - doesn't say on the shoe. But it looks like Northwave has changed they're buckle design into some kind of dial thingy. Anyone ever done Northwave in the past year?
