I have both road and mtb Sidi dominators(size 50) from about 15 yrs ago, when the uppers were leather. $250 sounds like a lot but they last and last, if you break down the cost per ride it turns out to be very cost effective(if you have the initial outlay $$). Ive replaced a couple of ratchet closers on them, parts are readily available. I highly recommend these shoes.
