I went ahead and mounted a Vee tire 3.25x27.5 in the front. No problem with clearance. Its a good inch taller than the 2.8 in the rear and a bit more clearance off the ground works for me. I am going to put the 3.0 nobby nic on the rear next but want to use the rear tire until its bald or until I get tired of it.
