I've had SIDI road (1 pair) & mountain (3 pairs) and liked them but was surprised how soon the came apart given the cost. I wanted a wider shoes (mega don't have a wider footbed) and the Lake wide were the only reasonable choice. I bought the CX176 road shoes and liked them so much I ordered the MX176 mountain shoes. For what it is worth, I bought the mountain shoes directly from Lake's website. Every LBS I talked to said they "could order them" but when asked if they don't fit what do I do. The response was always "Special order - no returns" and I can't blame them so I had no other choice than to mail order both pairs. Decent arch in the insert though I purchased a better insert for my road shoes. Good ventilation, have had both less than a year so can not speak about durability but they still look new.
