But you have to remember that they weren't originally Frosted Flakes. They were Sugar Frosted Flakes. There were also Sugar Smacks and Sugar Corn Pops. When concern over too much sugar in children's diets started mounting, Sugar Smacks became Honey Smacks and Sugar was dropped from Sugar Frosted Flakes and Sugar Corn Pops.

BTW...Interesting bit of trivia about Frosted Flakes. The original voice of Tony the Tiger was the same guy who sings "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch!" in the animated film. Also, the guy who was the original voice of the Lucky Charms mascot was not Irish at all and grew up on Staten Island.
I suspect they would be called "HFCS Frosted Flakes" or "HFCS Corn Pops" if there were truth in advertising.

Same goes for KFC. They changed their name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC to give the appearance of being healthier. It's the same stuff, but appears healthier.
