Looks like they made a mistake on their web site, and put two 10% discounts on one model, giving it 20% off (and the other model 0% off).
Now they have fixed it to be 10% off on all frames. Darn, the 20% was too good to be true...
Canyon has a big problem with their US website. Quality control is very poor and it has been ongoing.
Initial release and several weeks after had wrong prices, photo's of MTB frames and MTB wheels on their road bike pages, wrong components in component lists and a whole host of other content related issues. Mistakes like this have been very common.
And design awards mean little to anyone outside of a narrow group of industry insiders and design engineers. I have a neighbor with a PhD in robotics who goes on and on about the "award winning engine" in his Nissan Maxima.
