My goals are all health/medical related in general. I neglected my health for almost 20 years and it all caught up with me in 2018. Because of the labyrinthine bureaucratic system I have to be more systematic. Much as I dislike setting goals or making plans, there's no other way to approach it.

But for riding a bike? Nah. I follow the Joker's philosophy: Do I look like a guy with a plan? I just DO things.

I'm moderately systematic on the indoor trainer, but outdoors I take the fartlek approach. If it seems like a fun challenge to improve my time on a particular Strava segment, I'll do that. If the body says "nope" then I don't.
