Reselling? Not a great plan unless you go rock-bottom pricing and even then you'll probably find no takers.

I routinely unwrap tape to swap out a stem, brake levers or hoods, or to run new brake cables/housing for aero levers, then reuse it. The key to success there is paying attention to how it was wrapped before removal, as the tape will stretch and deform -- particularly at the brake levers -- and unless the rewrap matches up pretty closely it'll look like hell.
