It's actually not really very amusing. Idiots parking pick-ups in and blocking electric charging stations, if that is actually occuring, are idiots. Full stop.
Cyclists, were they tempted to emulate this moronic behaviour by blocking fuel pumps, would also be idiots, as are those who might suggest and approve of such an action, and should indeed be subject to whatever applicable legal penalties exist, as should the Pick-up idiots.
