How are you attaching that Sunlight Gold rack? It looks sturdy enough for my purposes. I'd want to use the brazed-on screw holes on my forks, which are about 8 inches below the crown.
They're meant to attach to the canti posts and it has a small strip of stainless flatbar that connects to the fork crown too.
