It sounds like you're probably familiar with it, but I was on week 2, which is pretty tame... jog 90 sec, walk 120 or something like that for 20 min, and a 5 min warm up and cool down before and after. My wife had hip replacement 16 months ago and she's doing great with it, but my knee ... lacks cartilage. The total is I think 8 weeks to a 5k. I saw your zero to marathon post and I think some more cartilage fell out of my knee.

I was only doing it so I could do a sprint tri with my family this Feb (race the base in Los Al). It looks like I better ramp up the bike training so I can at least finish in the same calendar day as everybody else.
