Based on these threads and reviewing Coggan and Friel's Cyclists' Training Bible, aside from pedaling in my free time, one of the first things I need to do is a 30 minute time trial with power to estimate my LTHR. I understand the basics of the test, so I have to look at how to do this with my Kickr, Elemnt, and Tickr.
I think this test: https://trainright.com/cts-field-tes...-calculations/
is easier to do and gives good results.

Another test I used to do on my rollers: warm up in zone 2 for 20', then a 1.5' hard interval, 3.5' zone 2, another 1.5' interval, then zone 2 until 30'. Stop and reset HRM or put in a lap mark. Shift to a harder gear and pedal at (for me) ~95 cadence for 5 miles, holding what I thought was my hardest long effort level, then ramping up for the last 2 minutes to maximum HR, real torture that last minute. LTHR was the average HR for those 5 miles and was quite accurate.
