I purchased a Gara in Washington DC in the mid 80s; rode with a local club, took it to Ecuador and raced it there too. because I am new to the forum I cannot post pictures of it yet.
But Apart from the seat and the clips the components are all original. A little rust on the fork, and some of the stickers have peeled a bit.
I was advised recently to replace/rebuild the rear wheel, as it is badly out of true. What are the odds I can find an Ambrosio Durex rim to maintain the original look?
