If you bought it new, it's definitely not a 1984-1988 model. The Shimano 600 Ultegra which is on the bicycle wasn't introduced until the 1988 model year and that decal scheme that wasn't used by Miele during the 1984-1988 model years. It's a 1989 model at the very earliest, though these would have been available in the autumn of 1988. Serial number?
