Nah! When you look at the torque figures of these stupidly strong guys, you'll realize that they don't have enough body weight to put the necessary torque to the pedals - what they're doing is leveraging against their bars, typically pulling up forcefully whilst slam-dancing on the pedals.
Yeah, I have no concerns about breaking the bars. And, I don't ride like that nor am I skilled or strong enough to do so. I'm old and slow as MoAlpha would say.
