Yeah, there is the mechanical lash. "bucking" is not exactly how I would describe it. More along the lines of a chain that needs to be tensioned. Mine is not very noticable, especially when I am riding that hub for awhile. I get used to it in a couple miles or less personally.

My conversions, when chain length was figured out, does not have loose chain syndrome. Drop out length FTMFW.

How many miles do you have on your S3X? I probably have about 300 or so.
