Tires I'm currently running are Vittoria Rubino G+ in 28s. I run them 80 front/90 rear from my former 250 to my current 230 lbs. I've had a couple of pinch flats caused by going too fast over some bad railroad tracks and one puncture from a big framing nail. I'll buy them again unless something amazing comes along that is under $40.
