I like it but I would rethink the brace to the seat tube. It has a tremendous mechanical advantage and is likely to be a weak link under load. I have done something similar but braced to the top of the seat tube. I have seen another (I think on MAKE) that braced to the bottom bracket. I'm working on a modification to mine now but I'm not to the picture taking stage yet.
