The walking thread. Still...
150 miles in 10 hours and change. Done in 1986 on a panasonic dx-3000. It was a ride to celebrate the Texas sesquicentennial.

Last week I did 180km, then the next day rode another 100km. Planning a 200km in a weeks time, and 400km later this summer.

136 miles. Probably the most I will ever do again since I am getting older and really hate being on roads in the dark. I don't have the free time like I used to so I can't afford to be on a bike for 12 + hours a day.

366 km (227 mi) during the first 24 hours of a 400 km brevet.
I've done this twice, the first year without sleep, the second year with about 15 minutes.

243 miles on the NJ Arrow last weekend, so that was from 10 AM Saturday to 10 AM Sunday. Then I rode home... so, total 269 miles in a bit under 27 hours.

206 miles for the Cascade Bicycle Club Seattle to Portland (STP). I've done the 1 day ride two years in a row, 2014 and 2015.

I posted on this thread way back in '09 but I guess I can post again since I've bettered my 24 hr record since then.
Last summer I rode a 600k brevet in 23:45. It was actually a bit over 600 km, so let's call it 375 miles. It was a beautiful moderately hilly route with about 16,000 ft of ascending.
There's no way I could have done this by myself. For the first half I was riding with a strong group of 6 or 7 riders. We lost some riders at about the 300 km point and then one more at the overnight control about 400 km. Three of us pressed on from there and rode together for the last 200 km. It was definitely one of the hardest things I've done on a bicycle, but also one of the most fun.

nice, 600k in under 24 hr is one of my goals. I can stay up 24 hours no problem, riding that fast is the problem. My first year of randonneuring, I might have been able to get a lot closer than I can now. 32 hours with a lot of time wasted, specifically at the 400k control. I have a lot of work and weight loss to get there again

I did ~409km in 22:17 on my 400K this year. I was slower on my 600K since I was going for a full value ride on that one, heh.

The other key is working cooperatively with some strong riders who share your goal.

81 miles, yesterday but I've only been ridding for 2 1/2 weeks so that'll go up.

164 miles in 9 hours. I did the first 100 in just a tad over 5 hours. That was a huge mistake.

Riding fast helps, but I think it's the time spent not riding that matters most when trying to do a time on a long ride like a 600k.
An even bigger issue in brevet riding is the ability to find "route friendly" - meaning time-efficient - refueling stops that support truly comfortable recovery periods.
There's no use in stopping at all if you are not refueling or recovering efficiently.

Longest Ride
147.8. It was with a randonneuring buddy. In fact, most of my longer rides have been as Randonneur Permanents/brevets. Sore butt, afterward. My toughest was a 124.7, with almost 11K of climbing.
At these distances, you just have to pace yourself a little more. I know of ppl that have done 300K, 500K's. Maybe, they are members here :-)

240km, Toronto to Port Dalhousie and back. The return leg back to Toronto was solo. 180km was the longest I managed this past summer.
