I am reconsidering my policy. I actually thought that is what the previous two crapmaster's did. @gugie @Drillium Dude I thought I was being consistent, but that may not be the case...

I do think auto-adding has the potential to cause issues, but then again, I'm retired from the game and things have moved on since my tenure.

No, I was a player in round 6 under Gugie, and I did not have to be mindful of automatic placement on the list. This is new...

I recall the discussion on the thread about the auto-add feature. In fact, I suggested perhaps some random shuffling to avoid having the order the same. Still, I can understand that people might have missed the discussion. One of the features I hate the most about the forum software is that you often have to actually visit the website when notified of a new arrival, otherwise you won't receive more notifications. That doesn't seem to be consistent though. I've noticed three distinct behaviors:
- As advertised, you better click the link, or you won't get another message on the thread
- Despite the warning, you are notified of every post to a thread
- Despite ignoring the warning, you get notified every once in awhile and when you click the link you are taken to the last message you did read days ago, and find you've missed four pages worth in the interim

By decree of the all powerful Crapmaster, from this point forward you WILL NOT be added back to the list automatically! When you send off your box to the next person, if you want to be added to the end of the list, just say so. If not, I will not add you until you make a new request to be added back! I have spoken!

@crandress, I hadn't caught the auto-add policy and was unaware that I was next in line. I'll be out of town until next Wednesday, so if you don't want a slight delay on shipping, pls bump me down a notch or two at your discretion. If not, I'll move it when I can.

All of you were automatically added to the end of the BOC list. The new policy is that I will not automatically someone back to the list. If you would like to be removed from the list until you decide to re enter the fun, please let me know. I did not include those that asked to be moved down the list or removed already. I think I got everyone. Thanks!

I'm all good in the hood. I'll be out of town from Wednesday to Sunday next week but I think I'll be fine with the spot I'm in.

This morning, I rode to the post office to send out the box o' crap. It weighed 25 pounds and didn't quite fit on my front rack. Upon making a turn onto a street, the box o' crap fell off my rack but stayed attached by bungie cords. I stopped and reattached it and rode slowly and carefully.
