Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Training is kind of on hold while i’m in work training. The trainer and I are not getting a lot, and I have been so stressed out with bus school I can’t really focus on anything else.

Agree they will. Here are updated pics of raspberries and sunchokes:

Checkride is June 1st. I then have some other classes on the 4th but no test with those classes.

I was hoping to go to atleast one race while down in Dallas but my schedule has not been able to accommodate that. I start Sims on Tuesday and they have us in the box at night so that’s not going to make races any easier to get too.

LeCol jersey size question - I wear large in PI and XL in Rapha. How does that translate to LeCol Sport Lightweight sizing?

I figured when he said "the sims" he was referring to a simulator. Thought maybe the "box" was something else.

I watched the nationals today. Kind of like watching paint dry, with a few seconds of excitement at the end.

Gotta say in that position I'd be tempted to just do the bare minimum. Mow once every 1-2 weeks.

I forgot they were called the Nationals. When I was a (sorta) baseball fan they were the Senators.

I'm thinking of hitting more church services just for the singing. I'm getting too old to be closing down karaoke bars.

Guess I could start singing along with YouTubes at home, give all my neighbors a taste of my dulcet tones

Also, happy pentacost everyone!

PI Large fits me,about like XL in LeCol Sport fits me. It's snug but not tight.

Road cycling nationals. UCI. There is probably a name for it that’s not coming to me. Charleston, WVA. Almost my old stomping grounds.

My wife and I attended Evensong services at Westminster Cathedral while in London. The singing was pleasant. Bonus, I got to see Newton and Hawking's resting places amongst others.

I haven’t been able to figure out the regular tick on every pedal stroke. Checked, and changed pedals. Loosened and retightened cranks. Yeah it might be the shoes…
