Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I was still living there when they held the '82 World's Fair in Knoxville. In a more rapidly changing place, they would have redeveloped the site already. In K'ville, the park's still there as a monument to civic pride. I love the place. But it's not exactly overwhelming in it's embrace of the 21st Century. Nashville is like the TN version of Las Vegas.
Change may be slow in some areas, but it eventually comes.

When was the last time you were in K-Town?

why weren't you walking on the sidewalk versus in the middle of the road? Could be risky since you are slow and hobbled. Not everyone has the cat like quickness that I do.

...actually in Knoxville, within the city limits ? Probably my adventure at the World's Fair there, a few months before leaving for the West Coast.

I mean I've never used Cortana but never used any of them. Even Bixby got a shout-out!

Cortana has a special place in my heart just because of Halo.

There's only a short stretch of sidewalk available.

I just by watching Vanishing Point '97 I reckon.

I got this one next, a Cliff's notes of the original Gone in 60 Seconds (made before bam was born) with the Strangler's "Peaches" overlain for audio.

I bought the original on DVD and was sorely disappointed.

...by using "Just the Two of Us" as teh background music in that TikTok, are they talking about the two working snowplows they have for the entire city ?
I'm pretty sure it never snowed that much at once, the entire time I lived back there. I hope it warms up enough soon, that you can just let it all go as runoff.

I kinda used ta like shoveling snow, back when I was young and fit. Now, it's just another thing in life I'd rather avoid.

Lovely ride. No rain, only a few wet turns:

No. A. It’s 20 degrees american out.

B. She’s a mom, and does not think Mothers should dress like that. Though, she would look good that way.
